IT Bibliography:
I have build substantial knowledge in the understanding of IT and it’s effect, effectiveness and politics for supporting of business processes, optimization, availability and security.
Experience varies from first level support and maintenance of primarily Windows platforms over purchasing, web, hosting, scripting on server farms and stretching to centralized server dimensioning, configuration, standardization, consolidation, outsourcing, automation/scripting, data center infrastructures and designs with virtualization as the main theme for a portfolio of applications architectures.
I a Windows team i had responsibility of deployment centralization and infrastructure supporting a mobile data capture infrastructure defined on ruggedized terminals with Windows CE including screensharing and telephone support.
Another responsibility was quality data acquisition from production lines on a virtual centralized infrastructure for data storage and application execution on Windows server 2012 RDS applications setup and later on a Citrix XenApp farm.
Among own responsibilities a number of projects has alongside been attended, coordinated, and executed in specialized applications such as Digital Asset Management on high performing VMware infrastructure, with web access and DFS-R for data availability.
Workbook project management tool upgrade and SAP integration.
Remote desktop server setup for developers in Master Data organisation including Visual Studio, Toad, SVN, Office 365.
Hardware knowledge spans from laptops HP/Lenovo/Dell, iOS tablets and thin clients with all sorts of peripheral equipment like printers/Cisco IP telephony to the server side with Cisco Unified Computing, Lefthand, Virtual Storage Appliance, NetApp NAS, Cloud knowledge on MS Azure, HP DL/C-class Blade, IBM E-server.
